Andrea J. McGowan

Andrea McGowan holds the position of vice president and office manager at New Republic Bank, where she is responsible for overseeing all office operations and logistics.

With a wealth of experience exceeding three decades in financial services, Andrea brings a diverse background in office management and lending, catering to both personal and small business clients.

During her career, Andrea served as the branch manager at TowneBank for two years, successfully expanding both consumer and commercial business. Additionally, she held the role of branch manager at Capital Bank for a remarkable 13-year period.

Her journey in banking began at First Citizens Bank, starting as a teller and personal banker. She later advanced her career by completing the Management Program and assuming the role of branch manager.

Andrea pursued her education with general studies at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.
