Andrea J. McGowan

Vice President & Office Manager

Andrea McGowan is the vice president and office manager for New Republic Bank. She oversees all office operations and logistics.

With over three decades in financial services, Andrea brings experience in office management and lending to personal and small business clients.

Andrea served as the branch manager at TowneBank for two years, growing both consumer and commercial business. She also served as branch manager for Capital Bank for 13 years.  

She began her career at First Citizens Bank where she was a teller and personal banker before completing the Management Program and becoming a branch manager. 

Andrea pursued general studies at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.
