Meet Anne Corey

With over three decades of experience in executive management, credit administration, and risk management, Anne Corey holds the role of Senior Vice President, Regional Credit Officer, and Loan Operations Manager at New Republic Bank. In her leadership capacity, Anne provides strategic direction for credit policy, risk management, and credit compliance, engaging with executive management, board directors, regulators, and all levels of the bank team.

Prior to joining New Republic Bank, Anne served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at Union Bank in Greenville, North Carolina. Here, she oversaw daily credit functions, directed the development of credit policies, and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements. Anne led analyses and reporting of portfolio trends and credit performance for executive management and the board of directors, and successfully integrated credit division staff and processes during a bank merger.

Anne's career also includes similar roles at Select Bank & Trust and First South Bank, with her journey beginning as a credit analyst at NCNB, now Bank of America. Anne is an alumna of East Carolina University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in finance.
