Anne Corey is a senior vice president and the regional credit officer and loan operations manager at New Republic Bank. She brings over 30 years of experience in executive management, credit administration and risk management. Anne provides leadership and guidance for credit policy, risk management and credit compliance and interfaces with executive management, board directors, and regulators as well as all levels of the bank team.

Prior to joining New Republic Bank, Anne served as the executive vice president and chief credit officer of Union Bank in Greenville, North Carolina. Here she directed the daily credit functions of the bank and coordinated the development and revisions of credit policies, procedures and agreements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. She led the analyses and reporting of portfolio trends and credit performance for executive management and the board of directors. She also oversaw the integration of credit division staff and processes during a bank merger.

Over her career, Anne served in similar roles at Select Bank & Trust and First South Bank. She began her career as a credit analyst at NCNB, now Bank of America.

Anne graduated from East Carolina University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in finance.
