Meet Jeff R. Brinkman

Jeff Brinkman, a seasoned Banking Executive based in Charlotte, NC, boasts over 35 years of experience and a remarkable track record. Currently serving as EVP, commercial and private banking executive at New Republic Bank, he leads sales activities and plays a pivotal role in the strategic realignment post-acquisition.

 

In his previous role as EVP, NC Commercial Market President at Aquesta Bank, Jeff successfully restructured commercial banking activities, overseeing nearly 250 client relationships, and achieving substantial growth in the NC Commercial lending book. During his tenure as SVP, Charlotte Commercial Market Executive at Regions Bank, he managed all commercial banking in North Carolina, consistently exceeding sales goals and contributing to team retooling for increased productivity.

 

Jeff's extensive background also includes leadership roles at Fifth Third Bank, where he excelled in starting up a healthcare vertical and achieved notable success in various commercial banking groups. Throughout his career, he has originated and closed $1.6B in commercial loans, showcasing his adaptability and results-driven approach.

 

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Wright State University and actively engages with the community through roles like Chairperson on the Executive Board of Directors at Care Ring, a Strategic Alliance Partner at EO Charlotte, and services on the board as treasurer for a local non-profit.
